ICTRD Student Chapter
The ICTRD Student Chapter is a dedicated platform established within educational institutions—such as colleges and universities—to empower students through professional development, networking, and active participation in activities aligned with their academic and technical fields. It serves as a bridge between students and the broader ICTRD ecosystem, encouraging innovation, leadership, and practical engagement.
Eligibility
- Registered educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, are eligible to apply for ICTRD Chapter affiliation.
- Each chapter must have a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 60 student members at the time of establishment.
- A maximum of 2 faculty coordinators can be nominated to oversee the chapter activities.
- Student nominations should be inclusive and represent all departments within the institution.

- Each new student member receives:
- ICTRD Official Membership Card
- Chapter Invitation Letter
- Notepad and Stationery
- Students get access to ICTRD’s exclusive dashboard and learning resources.
- Every new member receives one free exam ticket for ICTRD Global Certification (worth ₹600).
Benefits to Institutions:
- Institutions can send proposals for ICTRD funding to support student-led projects and innovations.
- Chapter Certificate will be awarded to the institution.
- Institutions get the opportunity to be a part of ICTRD’s national-level events and initiatives.
- Permission to use ICTRD Logo for institutional events, banners, posters, and leaflets (excluding certifications and mark sheets).
- Guidance and mentorship from ICTRD professionals for organizing workshops, events, and technical activities.
- Free vouchers for ICTRD Elementary Certification Exams provided for chapter members.
- Up to 50% discount on ICTRD student membership fees for students associated with the chapter.
- 50% of the total student membership revenue is shared with the institution.
- Example: If 50 students enroll at a discounted fee of ₹300, total revenue is ₹15,000. The institution receives ₹7,500.
Checklist to Create an ICTRD Student Chapter
To establish an ICTRD Student Chapter, the institution must submit the following documents:
- ✔ Petition Letter

- 1 Chapter Advisor
- ✔ Expression of Interest (EOI) Letter

- Signed by the Head/Principal/Chairman of the institution

- Brochure, website links, or digital documents describing academic programs and student facilities
- ✔ Nomination Details

- ICTRD Student Chapter Faculty Members (max 2)
- Proposed Office-Bearers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, etc.)

Fees
- Student Chapter Application Fees: ₹0 (No application charges)
- Chapter Membership Fees: ₹5,000 + GST (One-time fee for chapter registration)
- Individual Student Membership Fees: The fee will be mutually decided by the chapter and ICTRD, subject to a maximum of ₹600 per student. (It can be lower based on mutual agreement.)
