Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering established Indian Council for Technical Research and Development Student Chapter

One of Nagpur’s renowned institutions acknowledged for its remarkable engineering education and research, Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering has successfully established the Indian Council for Technical Research and Development Student Chapter on its campus.

Dr. Uday Waghe, the principal of YCCE College, congratulated the team on the installation of the ICTRD YCCE Student Chapter. In his remarks, he applauded ICTRD’s efforts for coming up with such a novel concept for starting a student chapter and fostering students’ technical development. He further encouraged students to work on technical projects and to organize various activities. He assured that faculty and students will support the ICTRD’s purpose, vision, mission, and goals, and will organize a wide range of programmes under this flagship.

During this event, Ketan Mohitkar instructed students on how to utilize the educational resources offered by their college and engage in research-related activities. He encouraged the students to attend technical events and organize lecture series in the name of the chapter. He stated that there are no limits to any type of innovation today. A popular messaging app was created by a young man born in Ukraine who later moved to the United States. The most popular games in the United States was created by Finns, Irish, and Vietnamese entrepreneurs. He further encouraged the students by saying that it doesn’t matter where you come from or what your background is; you are the one who can build the next Google, Spotify, or Tesla. One groundbreaking concept or creative invention has the power to unleash the market in unanticipated ways. “I expect that this student branch will assist the council in spreading its goal for the betterment of society”, he said as he put an end to the event.

ICTRD uses quality investigation and analysis of technological dealings to create new standards in technical concerns. The goal of establishing this student chapter is to improve students’ college experiences and prepare them for successful careers.
